In this rollercoaster, at the beginning it’s full of KE (Kinetic Energy). It’s KE because the rollercoaster is going to move due to a strong pull from the steel path and its low on the ground. As the rollercoaster goes up to Point 1the KE turns into GPE (Gravitational Potential Energy). This is happening because at Point 1 the rollercoaster is at its highest meaning it is soon to go down by another strong pull that is yet to activate and that there is more energy stored up that is waiting to unleash. At point one KE is at its least considering that there isn’t much movement and that’s it’s pretty high up. All that stored energy is what makes it into GPE. As the rollercoaster reaches to Point 2 the KE decreases to its lowest since right now there is more KE than GPE because there isn’t much force that would make the rollercoaster go WOOOOSH! It’s also at its lowest GPE because the rollercoaster is at it’s at a low place (as in its closer to the ground). When the rollercoaster reaches Point 4 the GPE increases but not to its fullest because we already reached the highest point (Point 1) but it still GPE because the point is still pretty high up and since they are upside down so there is a lot of stored energy.
